Star Dargin, PCC, CPCC
Star incorporates over twenty years of proven corporate leadership experience into her highly successful coaching and speaking work of nearly two decades. Specializing in building authentic leaders strongly aligned to organizational goals, she delivers results with a direct bottom-line approach.
Star Dargin built an impressively diverse professional résumé across multiple industries and leadership positions before founding Star Leadership nearly twenty years ago. Through her experience in such eclectic areas as the high-tech, engineering, educational, and support fields, she saw firsthand the negative organizational impact of unprepared leaders. Intelligence and potential were not enough; leaders often lacked the tools and self-knowledge they needed to be effective. In response, she developed her unique coaching approach designed to equip leaders with the knowledge and tools needed to sustainably build cohesive, functional, results-oriented teams. Her approach and effectiveness have been honed through over 2000 hours with hundreds of coaching clients and delivering over one hundred successful training modules.
A key pillar of Star’s unique coaching approach is integrating apparent opposites into a synergistic whole. By relying on the power of the word “AND,” conditions that might be seen as in conflict can be opened and effectively combined. The result is a strong, rapport-building, creative, and inclusive approach to team building and problem solving.
Star has worked in heading both domestic and international teams. Her roles have included Director of Engineering, Director of Project Managers, and International Program Manager. In her speaking role, she has addressed groups both large and small across the country on multiple leadership topics including project management, team building, and effective communication.
Star has been twice nominated for Business Coach of the Year by the International Coaching Federation of New England (ICFNE). In addition to her work with Star Leadership, she has been an instructor at Boston University since 2000 and is a senior instructor for the Corporate Education Group (CEG) with corporate clients around the globe.
She holds a B.S. in Computer Science, and has earned coaching certifications through the International Coaches Federation (ICF) and the Coaches Training Institute (CTI). She is a member of the National Speakers Association (NSA), and is affiliated with the Project Management Institute (PMI).
